BIG STIR RECORDS SINGLES SERIES is proud to announce the July 23rd release of “Where Have You Been?” from KEROSENE STARS available for preorder now at www.bigstirrecords.bandcamp.com/music. Coupled with “Don’t Pass Me By”, these are the first in a series of new singles from the band in 2021.

Kerosene Stars is an American rock band formed in Chicago, IL. The band is composed of Scott Schaafsma (bass, vocals), Andy Seagram (guitar, backing vocals), Jim Adair (drums), and Tom Sorich (percussion). Leading up to this new music release, the band has shared "Burn the Evidence", "A Million Little Trees", and "The Lost EP" over the last few years.

"Where Have You Been?" was written by Schaafsma in Summer 2019 and recorded at Kingsize Sound Labs with Mike Hagler (Mekons, Neko Case, Wilco to name a few widely known collaborations). While the band prides themselves with being able to skate over various genres, this single was crafted with nothing but pure power pop in mind - think "Material Issue meets Replacements".
